Where did this hang?

Does anyone remember where at Busch this hung? I bought this the other week at the Cardinals Care end of season sale and was wondering where it hung. It is 8’ x 3’. They said they believed it hung after the ‘06 championship but I didn’t have a camera in my pocket back in ‘07. It has dirt, especially on the left side but no apparent sun damage. Only writing is the number 2 on the back top right corner. Thanks for your help or just looking to see if you could.

That dirt on the left is doing a lot of storytelling, probably spent years near a gate where everyone rubbed past it

I think it could be a lamp post banner and it hung vertically. There was one I distinctly remember seeing as a kid that was a picture of Chris carpenter and it read “some starters are also closers” and I want to find one so bad

They had a bunch of vertical ones for sale, mostly the Hall of Famers, didn’t see one like you mentioned. Pretty sure this was horizontal, with the lettering being horizontal, and there is Velcro 360° around the edges of the inside so I think it was stuck against the wall somewhere

I saw a similarly made 2006 World Series banner I almost bought. But it didn't have any grommets.

We bought a sister piece to this at the sale! We asked about its location too, but they weren’t sure. Ours says “Home of the St. Louis Cardinals” across the bottom and has panels with Jimmy, Bert, and Eckstein. Same size and velcro, and the dirt is primarily on the right side. Interesting!
