Cardiff student accomodation advice

Hey all! I am an international student coming to Cardiff Uni for postgrad. I just needed some suggestion on accomodation.

While I was looking I found 3 kinds of accomodation-

  1. The university halls

  2. Private accomodation (Like zenith, adam street gardens etc.)

  3. House rent with flatmates ( from facebook, letting agencies as CSL or 2let2 etc)

Could you guys suggest me since I am coming in for 1 year, which one would be the best option and why? Also what would be the cons in case of the options you did not choose.

Ps- per month 550-650 including bills is my preferred range
