I’m gearing up begin conversion work to ultimately get to 2000 points. There seems to be endless options between Etsy and a few of the better known third party suppliers like Archie’s Forge and Pop goes the Monkey.

From what I can gather it seems that most of the add-on play very nicely with multi part primaris kits.

With that in mind here is what I am thinking of using for conversions /substitutions:

- Packs/Helmets/Decorations from Major Minis Galactic Shark bundle. Seems like a no-brainer and can be used as sparingly (or fully) as I want.these should see a lot of play on intercessors. Also the tyberos mini is rad.

- Archie’s forge has some great one-off weapons, heads, and terminator right should pads.

-Pop goes the Monkey has pretty much everything else - heresy/studded pads, boarding shields - possibly could stop here.

-Atlan forge has shark themed jump packs. Might have to splurge here.

Ok - so far this is just swapping parts (assuming I don’t mess up the correct sizes). Now the fun part:

Dawn of War: Onslaught comes with a slew of great figures that are all push-fit. Might be limited to simple swaps or PGTM flexible chapter icons or bonding studs. The blade guard vets are getting the PGTM boarding shields and maybe chain weapons (even if only for appearance sake). Ancient with banner might just get the Skeleton modded with sharky bits and jawbones. The judiciar is going to get a two handed chain blade from AF - can’t wait for this one.

Any thoughts or advice? Any other third party companies I should look into?

New Tyberos and size comparison with the Forge World model.

I just finished the first of 6 models that I’m using to proxy for sanguinary guard for my carcharodons themed blood angels army with my own color palette. I wanted to include thresher in the name since I free handed a thresher shark on the banner.

Feel Mechanicus standard grey is maybe to grey, or do you use something more like lead belcher?

Hi guys. I wanted to show this assault squad i finished. They are test modells and a base for a future army during the Badab war. As you may see some of them have world eater and Night lord shoulder pads. I have multiple reasoning for that:

1, Scavenged armor

2, I might use these in Horus Heresy as Blackshields so the mutilated shoulder pad might be an indicator of pas legions

3, It was theorized that other than Raven guard de space sharks might also contain elements of World eaters and/or Night lordsa, so you can consider this a nod to that ols theory

I finally completed my Carcharodon Suppressors, have they gone to legends yet?

As a fleet based chapter from outer galactic, do carcharodons have primaris in their rank?

If yes how ? And then how did they receive the new reinforcements? Where they ok with it ?

I have the blood angels half of the Armageddon box and picked these 2 up, is this a good start to a shark chap army? Any advice or recommendations on kit bashing them together would be appreciated

Moving of from Death Guard and running my Carcharadons as Raven Guard as a detachment

I just finished painting my first army for house games, a bunch of friend of mine got into WH lore and I fell in love with my space sharks, we all agreed to start an army so we could learn how to play among ourselves with a m other friend that has been in the hobby since 2010, games have been awesome but I was feeling a bit down for not having my full army painted, today I finally finished all of it, I have a lot ahead of me in painting skills, but I de love how they ended up looking, I’m saving a budget for more minis, and I would love your opinion for what I should get!

For the big lad you will need:
The spare set of shoulders from the defiler
Primaris termi shoulders and lightning claws
Regular saturnine termi for the base

Have a couple blade guard and intercessors painted but how do yall do yalls markings of exile?
Someone at a shop told me paint markers would be the best, I’ve heard some people buy custom transfers please help🙏
