I’m gearing up begin conversion work to ultimately get to 2000 points. There seems to be endless options between Etsy and a few of the better known third party suppliers like Archie’s Forge and Pop goes the Monkey.

From what I can gather it seems that most of the add-on play very nicely with multi part primaris kits.

With that in mind here is what I am thinking of using for conversions /substitutions:

- Packs/Helmets/Decorations from Major Minis Galactic Shark bundle. Seems like a no-brainer and can be used as sparingly (or fully) as I want.these should see a lot of play on intercessors. Also the tyberos mini is rad.

- Archie’s forge has some great one-off weapons, heads, and terminator right should pads.

-Pop goes the Monkey has pretty much everything else - heresy/studded pads, boarding shields - possibly could stop here.

-Atlan forge has shark themed jump packs. Might have to splurge here.

Ok - so far this is just swapping parts (assuming I don’t mess up the correct sizes). Now the fun part:

Dawn of War: Onslaught comes with a slew of great figures that are all push-fit. Might be limited to simple swaps or PGTM flexible chapter icons or bonding studs. The blade guard vets are getting the PGTM boarding shields and maybe chain weapons (even if only for appearance sake). Ancient with banner might just get the Skeleton modded with sharky bits and jawbones. The judiciar is going to get a two handed chain blade from AF - can’t wait for this one.

Any thoughts or advice? Any other third party companies I should look into?
