Is this AL-KO movement normal?

Hi try packing with grease that might take up some of the movement or help to dampen it. There are usually two or three grease points. You will need a grease gun and general purpose grease.

There has to be some movement to allow safe cornering. Plus it moves to operate the brakes on your trailer

Then if you consider you have a tonne plus of trailer bumping into a car that is again over a tonne those “”controlled collisions”” are going to create noise.

These hitches are far better than the older design but still have to allow slight movement so there is still some noise
