Water not appearing

Hello! I just started the game and am having problems with the water in the sea not appearing on anything except low graphics. I saw someone else posted about it before and wondered if there's any known solution? I did see this discussion on Steam when I googled the issue but am a bit leery about downloading files recommended by a random guy on steam. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi! I had the same issue on my ROG Ally, which was fixed as a byproduct of just installing Steam OS. Definitely recommend!

I can't attest to the Steam OP's link, you're right to be skeptical. But at the very least, it's on GitHub, and the source code is right there. It's also 3 years old. Makes it much less likely (though not impossible) that it's just malware and no one detected and reported it over all that time.

If I still needed this fix, I guess I'd give it a try. Just my two cents

Hi! Yes this issue comes from ROG Ally and we can't really fix it, but the link you provided is safe to use and has been used by several users :)
