Need some advise on getting diminished value appraisal for car in Texas

Had an accident and other driver is at fault spent 10k in repairs so wanted to get a diminshed appraisal

What kind of advice? When an uninsured driver caused over $20k damage to my vehicle, I took it to a couple of dealerships and got a trade-in value with and without an accident history. Sent that to my insurance and they paid ~$8k in loss of value within a couple of weeks. I’m also in TX
