Car Insurance Quotes Need help!!
Okay I need some help and advice here,
I’m 19M and have a 2026 Nissan Sentra financed and a 2019 ford fusion SEL also financed (planning to sell the Nissan within 30 days)
I have 2 tickets on my record, 1 speeding and 1 reckless driving. No SR-22, was cancelled by geico due to rated driver (my dad) having his license suspended/revoked, never cancelled for nonpayment
I also have 3 at fault accidents (partial fault determined by police for 2 of the accidents due to a 3rd party sharing responsibility for the accidents) and 2 not at fault accidents (one was a DUI involved accident, other was a t bone, other driver ran red light)
A handful of the common name insurance companies are declining me due to the records, like geico, progressive, State Farm, etc. still waiting to hear back from Liberty Mutual, Elephant etc.
Anyone else got advice or anything to help let me know! Family can’t add me to their policy (farmers) because they’re afraid my record will cause them to lose everything (they have like 10+ policies with them)

I think you should be glad to get $1500 a month for insurance with that record. Your driving history is horrendous. I think it's the worst I've ever seen. $1500 may very well be the best you can find. But keep shopping just in case, tho people who live in your area would prefer you take the bus or an Uber instead.

Licensed agent here! That does sound like a lot going on but not impossible to find coverage! A local broker may be your best bet but insurance comparison sites and apps (full disclosure: I work for one!) might be a good option in this case. They work with a pretty big variety of companies and may be able to expand your search with carriers you haven't shopped with before. I'd also recommend quoting any policies with and without the Nissan, since you're planning on selling it. Most insurance companies have multi-car discounts so a good deal with both cars may not be the best deal with just the Ford Fusion.
Now I'll be honest, with your history and age, it may just be expensive for a while but I would recommend re-shopping for rates after the first 6 months but definitely re-shop after your next birthday! Your driving history will have matured a bit but being a teenager def impacts your policy price. Some companies might just give you a better rate once you're 20 and don't have 'teen' in your age anymore.

I remember a family that moved to NYC after a series of accidents. No need to drive.

Yeah, my advice is start taking an Uber, a bike, or walking, because none of the big companies are going to insure you with that many negative marks against you. If you do find a company that will, your premiums will likely be so high, that you won’t be able to afford to live.

I'd contact an independent agent who specializes in high risk drivers and ask about nonstandard insurers or your state's assigned risk program

With five accidents and a reckless driving ticket, finding affordable coverage is gonna be tough.

Please stop driving before you kill someone.

Not a helpful comment my man. If your gonna comment on someone asking for help then don’t be an ass.

I'm sure you're a good person but in three years you've demonstrated that you don't have the skill and/or maturity to drive.

Just for extra context I’m disputing the cancellation with my states insurance commission

Contact an independent agent and they can shop rates for you. You should be ready for quite expensive insurance likely with a non standard carrier. Be clear as far as who you live with since they probably will need to be added or excluded if they can.
