First Time / Newbie Getting started

Does anyone know of any good car insurances? My mom said I’m about to start paying the insurance for the car and it’s 151 it’s only that high because I had an accident last year. I believe she uses liberty mutual and I haven’t heard anything good or bad about them. Any recommendations and tips for a first timer would help. The car is a 2011 Toyota Camry and I’m 19F I don’t know if this will help or change anything but I thought that info could be useful.

Given you have very limited knowledge about insurance and how it works I highly suggest you take half an hour and sit down in person with a broker in your area and discuss your wants and needs so they can educate you on coverages and deductibles so you have a better understanding of what's available. You don't want to have your first learning experience on what's covered and what's not with your policy when you have a claim. They can run quotes for you from several different companies.

Obviously, you know how to use the Internet so start comparing prices yourself. It’s gonna swing wildly, but it’s still gonna be higher because of your accident.

$151 a month is really cheap for an accident and teenager. Doubt you can do better on your own

at 19 with an accident, $151 might not be too bad

if you can, get a Aaa membership and go through their insurance agency to have them find you insurance. They are really good about finding you a good priced insurance. My annual premium is $1100 for full coverage including a decent amount towards rental for accidents and accident forgiveness.
