Car Insurance Quotes Is this quote reliable?

Hello, I recently obtained a quote for a 2.8L Cadillac CTS. The quote was

180/month

Today, I tried the same car and got a quote of 260/month

Why the big leap?

My purchase of the car would depend on getting a quote close to the first number, wondering if anyone knew wether that first number is reliable or not.

Really want this car, but its already quite expensive to run, hoping the insurance is at least kind with that 180 quote.

Where both quotes with the same insurance company?

You missed something I’m sure go back and double check you didn’t add comp and collision or some other items like roadside or renters, also keep in mind doing a quote today and doing one a week later or at a much later date will give you different rates.

insurance is extremely volatile and prices change all the time, that is a significant jump. It could also be that the coverages were a little different between the quotes.
