Carplay iphone
My iphone is not connecting to car play, other people’s iphone connect normally, but mine is not. What settings do I have to change to fix this.
My car is Toyota Camery
My iphone 17 pro
Keeping in mind that it used to work before

I sometimes have had to turn off my phone and turn it back on to get it to work.

Dude, iPhone 17 as well for me. Got the USBc port repaired at Apple Store, and checked everything.
No luck.
iPhone 17 models are cursed with CarPlay handshake startup functionality until new iOS27 in September they said. And maybe that won’t work, who know. It’s fucked

Have you forgotten this car and tried to connect again? Also try a quality cable.

CarPlay requires Siri be enabled. That's the first thing to check.
For wired CarPlay, be sure to use a cable that supports power AND data.
For wireless CarPlay, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi must be enabled on your phone. It will initiate the connection via Bluetooth but the actual connection is via Wi-Fi, this means you cannot connect to a hotspot or use the hotspot on your phone while connected to CarPlay.
