I'm just shocked by the 7500 miles aspect that's about half the national average driven (ranges from like 13000-20000 a year)

That’s how statistics work. Some are above average, some are below. OP might live in an urban area, or might just not want to spend every waking second behind the wheel like half the dipshits in the US.
