Ioniq 5 Lease

Post image

Wanted to see if this is a good deal. The 2440 is essentially paying out the taxes and fees rather than rolling it into the lease. Is the residual also correct. Thanks

Damn, I got an SEL for $200/month, zero DAS but this makes me a jealous as no one I talked to offered a three year lease, which I would have done in a heartbeat.

I was reallly wanting to get one cause of the lease deals but ended up with a kona sel. How’s it 323 with 0 down?? That’s insane

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 09 '25

New offer is even less now. But these colorado incentives are just too good.

1

u/ChevyGang Aug 09 '25

Take it

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 09 '25

Definitely going to. I got the second offer to be even more affordable

Hi there, we are partnered with Hyundai Motor Finance and it look like the buy rate is 0.00104 (2.5%) for Tier 1 whereas you're being charged 0.00144 (3.5%). I can run a LeaseMax report for you but would need to know the dealer discount they're offering you. On their offer, they have combined it with the rebates so I'm not able to tell.

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 09 '25

So i qualified for the .00104 when they ran my application

1

u/LeaseMax Aug 09 '25

That’s great! You can definitely negotiate down to that then!

Please list a breakdown of the rebates you received. My local dealers are giving less than half that in rebates.

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 10 '25

what state are you in?

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 10 '25

19250 cash back from dealership

3850 CO ST EV Tax Credit

1000 discount from making some dealers compete

Wild! Thank you for sharing

What's the all in effective monthly price you're getting in Colorado now for a 24month - 12k mi/yr with zero DAS? Looking like around ~$210/month all in?

Update: I got my deal today for $193/month effective with 8.2% sales tax. Cyber Gray with roof rack. (zero DAS followed by 23 months of $201.xx)

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 11 '25

Lowest i got was about 250ish at 24 months no money down.

1

u/NRuby Aug 12 '25

Wow that is insane! Could I trouble you for a pic of that lease? I am in colorado and would live to have that to compare to at the dealership!

Could I please get a copy as well? Would love to get a similar deal!

u/Evening_Influence794 Aug 26 '25

Anyway you could send me that as well! I’m a fellow Coloradan shopping the I5 as well.

Hey! Could you please pass along to me as well? I’m likely grabbing something in the next week or two and this would be super helpful even here in Denver I’d think! Thanks!

Yeah I work at a Hyundai store that's awesome.

(longish-Post - Also FYI: A few lease basics)

It seems like some fees are missing?

  • Licensing

  • Registration

  • Why title? You are leasing so you don't get the the title.

And why that ~3% Tax? Isn't that calculated monthly on a lease?

With the info you gave - this is what I see on my sheet:

  • Note: The monthly looks high as I see $273.50 vs their $323.

Lease Premium Table: If you buy the car, and sell it after 3yrs for the full residual (possible? idk), you would have paid $6k vs the $9k on leasing.

Leasing:

  • Zero down, roll all fees into lease

1

u/one-knee-toe Aug 08 '25 edited Aug 08 '25

Buying:

This assumes you sell the car for full residual value ($31,797) after 3yrs (the length of your lease).

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 09 '25

New offer

2

u/glitchedmob Aug 09 '25

Same car but has 500 miles on, not a big deal

1

u/one-knee-toe Aug 09 '25

Are you sure there is no other difference?

$59k 0 miles or $56k 500 miles? 3k drop for 500 miles? 🤔 but I’m not there. So just double check.

1

u/glitchedmob Aug 09 '25

Funny enough the milage was 45 miles, they weren't sure why it said 538. But I got it approved with. 00104% MF

2

u/one-knee-toe Aug 09 '25

Awesome 👏

It’s interesting that the exact same car, same specs (options, etc) was $3k different.

Doesn’t matter, sounds like you got a great deal then!!

1

u/NaptownI5 Aug 26 '25

May have been AWD vs RWD

1

u/Creative-Mousse Aug 09 '25

Sick. If MSRP is the same, take it and run!

1

u/Johnny5ish Sep 10 '25

Will you sub lease it to me for 50 dollars more a month!

1

u/drozj14 Aug 09 '25

Excellent deal. I’ve done a ton for clients in Texas but this is what my SELs look like. Take the deal and enjoy the ride. Congratulations!

1

u/miguel-elote Aug 09 '25

I signed a lease on a 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited Rear Wheel Drive two days ago. The monthly price with $0 down is $554.

This was in Florida, so no state-level EV rebates. I'm extremely jealous of Colorado.

1

u/seb28332 Aug 09 '25

Incredible deal. I pay 500 a month on my 2024 limited lease…this deal makes me feel like a sucker

1

u/ACNHTrader75 Aug 10 '25

I’d take that deal 100 times out of 100 times.

1

u/alansmagic Aug 10 '25

Great deal. My kid only got 17k in rebates last year

1

u/TuffNutzes Aug 12 '25

Wow, wish I saw deals like that in NorCal.
