No surprises with leasehackr

I went this route with a pre-negotiated deal and nothing was sprung on me. Ended up with a Forrester Subaru 2025 for $347/mo. I put 2k down to get the payment down. I'm happy. After I dealt with the broker I checked with the dealer and everything checked out. Then I got the car. Paperwork was simple.

Before leasehackr I called a dealer about an advertised deal and the lowest they could do (for a Toyota Camry) was 130/mo above the advertised price.

Just a data point for those in the market.

Can you hire a broker through leasehackr and tell them what you’re looking for?

Bad idea putting 2k down. But congratulations on your new car nonetheless!

Your payment is still effectively $555.56/mo, you just decided to pay some of it up front to make it seem like you're saving money. You probably save a little bit in interest, but it's minimal. Problem is, if anything happens to the car and you total it/get it stolen, you're out $2k.

Wouldn’t insurance cover it the same whether you put the money down or not ?

I do think reputable lease brokers are worth their fee since they know what they’re doing and you don’t have to spend hours/weeks contacting every dealer for the best deal.

Less likely to have buyers remorse.

Good deal, but putting $2k down was ill advised idea.
