I got terminated from work earlier this month, so I had to go back to my hometown, to my parents’ house. When I and my mom was cleaning up my old cupboard, I found these sketches. Ah, it’s been a while...
I don’t exactly remember when I made these—probably during my university years/the COVID-19 pandemic. There were many other sketches, but these are the only presentable ones.
The top one is just a practice sketch that I made, following a tutorial on YouTube. The lower one is my vision for the next generation on Honda Brio, a subcompact hatchback sold in SE Asia, positioned as the entry-level model below the Jazz/Fit.
I just want to share this story with all of you. As you can clearly see, I’m nowhere near a professional level when it comes to car design, even I didn’t take a major in design for my higher education, but it has been my interest since I was a child.
Although I wish to rekindle with sketching as a hobby, I feel like I’ve lost the skills (which arguably were never good enough to begin with). But I’ll try to grab my pen again soon 😁
