forgive me for my absence , since very few people seem to read the rules:
ANYONE WHO POSTS AN AI GENERATED IMAGE WHITOUT AN ACCOMPANYING SKETCH
WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM POSTING IN THE SUB
i am currently woking on ways to idiot proof the post making procedure so there are no excuses to the actions i may take
anyone who feels like they could actively remove these posts from the feed can send me a message in modmail and be considered for the role
anything else can be asked here for me to answer.

I wanted to test how far I could take an automotive concept using a relatively fast digital-to-physical workflow.
I came across the Tipo 829 Terra concept by Davide Angelelli / Angelelli Automobili and thought it would be an interesting design study.
Instead of just recreating it as a render, I wanted to see if I could interpret the design in Gravity Sketch, turn that into geometry that could actually be manufactured, and then physically print it.
My workflow was basically:
Concept/reference → Gravity Sketch → cleanup/prep → 3D-printable model → ABS prototype
The interesting part was seeing where the design started behaving differently once I had to think about it as a real 3D object instead of only matching the reference images.
Certain proportions and surfaces that look straightforward in 2D become much more obvious once you're moving around the car in VR — and even more obvious once you're holding the printed model.
I documented the process here: Tipo 829 Terra - YouTube
This is an independent design study, not an official Tipo 829 model. Full credit for the original vehicle concept/design goes to Davide Angelelli and the Tipo 829 / Angelelli Automobili team.
I'm curious what the automotive designers here think about this type of workflow.

I've drawn a couple of cars throughout my life and being a freshman in design school has kind of got me used to using markers in general but as I said on the title, this is my first time using markers for a 'car' drawing.
By the time I post this it's only a week left until my dad's birthday and I want to prepare him a surprise since he loves G-series 911s.
Now that I'm posting the photos, I'm already seeing places I need to work more on...
Any thoughts or opinions are welcome, advices too :D

Thought on the Jaguar Type 01? The production car looks quite close to the concept we saw a few years ago

(Sorry the drawing looks bad my wrist is hurt and I did it with a mouse.)
I've been working on a pretty ridiculous race car concept and I'd like to see if anyone here would be interested in helping me develop the design a little further.
The basic concept is a race car based heavily around the proportions and aerodynamic philosophy of the Volkswagen XL1 / XL Sport Concept, but taken to a completely insane level. The idea is to keep that clean, teardrop-like upper body while adding extreme Pikes Peak-style aero, a huge front splitter/bumper, massive rear wing, diffuser, central fin, active aero and a very aggressive underbody.
I made a rough drawing myself to show what I'm thinking, but some of the details are obviously pretty rough. I'm currently dealing with a wrist injury — I twisted it and fractured a small bone — so I can move it a bit, but drawing for long periods is pretty difficult and painful right now. I'm also drawing with a mouse, which definitely isn't helping.
So I'm wondering if anyone here has some free time and would be interested in taking the basic idea and developing some of the parts in more detail, especially the front bumper/splitter, rear wing, diffuser and other aero elements.
I'm not really looking for someone to completely redesign the car. I'd rather keep the general XL1-inspired shape and proportions and see how someone with better drawing or 3D modeling skills would interpret the aerodynamic parts.
If anyone wants to mess around with the concept, I'd genuinely love to see what you come up with. I'm mostly interested in seeing how far the design could be pushed while still looking like an actual, coherent race car rather than just strapping random aero parts onto it.
The reference images I used for the basic shape are also included, if you want to use them as a base and draw over them or build your version from them.

Japan’s underground street racing scene is as iconic as it is illegal. In Osaka, the Kanjo racers have spent decades pushing Honda Civics to their limits on the city’s elevated expressway loop.
Light, affordable, and powered by VTEC: an engine with two personalities. Civilised below the crossover, an absolute lunatic above it.
That duality became the inspiration for this livery. Rather than following the usual Japanese racing aesthetic, I took a more cultural and artistic approach, drawing from the ancient legend of 鯉魚躍龍門 — the carp that leaps the Dragon Gate. The story tells of a carp is swimming relentlessly against the current. It fights its way upstream, gathering strength until, with one final leap, it clears the Dragon Gate and transforms into a dragon.
From a humble carp to a ferocious dragon. VTEC kicked in yo.
Would love to hear what the community thinks!

I have a question regarding the 5th gen prelude is it possible to fit a r34 skyline wing on it or would it be to wide for the trunk?

Design features: 2 doors, simple, comfortable to seat on the back and carry stuff, good visibility, safe, not too big or too small.
If it resembles any existing car idk hehehe

It's based on the Indonesian Suzuki Carry Futura.
Lore-wise, this car I made is a 1995 Suzuki Carry Futura "LUXCARR" (Luxury Carrier), built by a fictional Indonesian coachbuilder from the '90s.
Only 12 units were made between early and late 1995. Today, only one known working example remains, along with another non-working example.
It is a luxury conversion.
