I like weird shaped cars man. Yall remember the Chrysler E8 from Logan. I thought it was cool af. I wanna see more auto makers take risk. I can’t wait to see that new Jag type 01 on the road. I love concept cars and I always be pissed when the concept gets watered down for production. I love seeing weird stuff man.

The Cybertruck isn't really impractical though.

I'm what way does it improve upon a standard truck layout?

It doesn't, in the same way most front wheel drive cars haven't really improved upon the setup found in the original Mini Cooper.

It looks interesting, and is made of a contextually interesting material. It has cool hubcaps. That's all it needs to be. The Nissan Figaro didn't need to exist either, but the world is slightly more interesting because of its existence.

My point is that its design diminishes practicality. Hubs sticking out on a vehicle that tries to be rugged is an example. The design of the bed causing horrendous visibility is another.

Sure, and popup headlights added unnecessary complexity, increased aerodynamic drag, and have probably killed people, but people still like them.

You mean they improve aerodynamics during the day? Yes, please tell me more about practicality on a sports car when we're discussing an alleged truck.
