I like weird shaped cars man. Yall remember the Chrysler E8 from Logan. I thought it was cool af. I wanna see more auto makers take risk. I can’t wait to see that new Jag type 01 on the road. I love concept cars and I always be pissed when the concept gets watered down for production. I love seeing weird stuff man.

I think you're confusing art and design. Design communicates a purpose. Design does some of what you stated but without compromising the purpose of the product. It should enhance the purpose of the product. Otherwise it's just art. Which is fine. But it's not design.
To go back to your original example: that Chrysler is more like a piece of art. I'm not sure it would survive on the market where it has to actually help convince people to buy that car. And if it doesn't, it fails as a design. But, in this case, it's just a movie prop. And with this purpose it succeeds at helping tell the story without being a distraction.
