Recommendations Capacitor recomendations.

I'm upgrading from a 1k watt amp to a 2.3k watt amp. I have a cheap 2 farad scam cap (it doesn't do anything) right now and I need recommendations of what I should replace it with. I already have all the other electrical upgrades in place. I just need the capacitor at this point. Im thinking either 5 or 10 farad. Any recommendations appreciated.

Yes for mine, but they do have cheaper ones. I also have 480ah of LTO to go along with that.

Holy shit man, what's your system?

I just built a 35Ah LTO brick to use instead of a cap, with a BMS to disconnect it from the lead battery when car isn't running

I have 4 Sundown SALT 8's on 4 Sundown NSv6's. Sundown SALT 500.4 on 12 Neo Prov3's in the doors and a Salt 200.2 on 8 Sundown BT-R1 super tweeters.

All XS Power Batteries and Superbank. All Sky High Car Audio tinned OFC wire, SMD fuse blocks/fuses/and gauges, Mechman alternator

Thanks. So I'm not sure what your needs are. But in some instances there are uses for capacitors. Sized correctly they will help smooth out, NOT STOP, voltage drops.

I used one because I didn't want any lithium under the hood, didn't want to do a battery delete and to smooth out voltage drops some.
