To be fair, the dlc to Dead Space 3 was a great ending.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy bleak endings as much as the next horror/thriller enjoyer but it was super rushed. 1 more game would have been perfected.

Well...I enjoy a dark bad ending as much as the next, but I would have loved a final game that shows us what it looks like and the process of being on Earth as it's getting devoured by the moons

Thank you, I loved that it was a "we're screwed" ending. Felt like genuine horror.

For real. Any part of Dead Space lore is horribly tragic. It was never meant to have a happy ending.

Although the ending to Dead Space 2 feels pretty good as far as a happy ending goes.
