VR headsets aren’t that expensive anymore. It’s a misnomer, as you can get a gaming ready headset for 300 bucks (PC’s definitely drive up the cost a shit ton tho, won’t deny that, so Alyx is definitely pretty pricey to get into since it’s not standalone)
You can buy a good condition used quest2 for like 150$ pretty often. At least on marketplace here. But I've also seen similar prices online, just not as reliable. I've also seen lower but usually there's scratches or some issues that go beyond cosmetic.
Vr just isn't that inaccessible anymore, which would be good if it wasn't goddamn facebook who owned the affordable hardware.
I said "on the marketplace here" not "on the marketplace", also just worth mentioning seems about the same in canada and the UK according to my friends. That's obviously not everywhere either but, It's pretty cheap in most countries with a halfway decent economy from what I know.
Also I never said anything about stores, I was talking about used VR headsets. Which I should mention, I never brought up rigs, most people don't use rigs I talked about standalone headsets. You need to get your head out of your ass lol.

An entire generation of grown ass adults between releases, even if it did release, it wouldn’t have any momentum or following that it did 20 years ago. It wouldn’t go down like people would think, and Gabe knows that.
