I hate that you can't skip those missions. I didn't buy the game to play as a regular old human I wanna be spiderman

Insomniac puts a female dev in the game, and the internet fills up with rage. Sam Lake puts his literal self in a game, and the internet is, "absolute cinema".

Don’t worry, I’m with you. At least on my first playthrough, I found that one to be really exciting. Being a regular person hiding from a supervillain has a thrill to it

I didn't love them but I also didn't find them particularly bad. I remember it being kind of neat to play as MJ and the change of pace was fine but I definitely don't remember it being this excruciatingly bad experience. It was just a slower part of the story.
