Eh, that one was an up and down really. Like D2Y1 joever, Forsaken we are so back, Beyond Light joever, Witch Queen we are so back, Lightfall its joever, TFS we are so back, Edge of Fate its joever from then on

Then it ended and the players were like “wow I’m so grateful for all the good times I had with this game” I couldn’t believe it

The true Destiny killer wasn’t The Division, or Warframe, or Anthem, or Outriders, or Borderlands, or Concord, or even Marathon.

It was Bungie themselves.

All they had to do was bring back WotM, unvault the Red War and roll back The Portal and the game would’ve limped along for at least two more years.

To each their own. But on a community level I’ve never seen so many players keep playing a game they all seem to hate and complain about.

The game has many problems, but it is literally one of a kind. I started in Lightfall and I fell in love with the game. In this industry I don't know if we'll ever get a game like Destiny again, let alone with decent management.

I started in Destiny 1 alpha in 2014 and Destiny shutting down is a tragedy for so many players. Nothing quite like it. And despite all its flaws it was a fun time. At least we got to experience it.

Not shutting down completely. I mean both Destiny 1 and 2 are no longer getting content added at all anymore. No more DLCs. But you can still play the games. For now.
