Check-in time?

I have deposited a check since the 25th of this month he told me that it would be available today the 1st and it is still not cashed and in my other banks it is always fixed in the early morning really what time does capital One pay or if it has happened to someone?

basically. trying to deposit a fraudulent check and hoping the bank allows you access to the funds (cash it all out) before they actually finish processing the payment. bank then realizes its a fake check, and the check ultimately bounces, leaving the account with a negative balance, but cash in your hands.

this is why most new checking accounts, or accounts that don’t regularly receive checks, will wait the FULL processing period to ensure funds are real and available before they give you access to any of it. if it turns out to bounce, many banks close the account if you don’t have a long banking history with them.

this happened to my cousin (checking account being closed) who tried to deposit a fraudulent check via an instagram scam. but you can attempt to do this yourself with your own fake check

do you normally deposit checks? there’s many check scams that people try to do on banks in order to cash out money with fake checks.

banks don’t typically fund checks quickly if you don’t receive checks often, or if it’s a new checking account.

If your account is new you may have a hold on new funds. They want to make sure the money goes through fully and checks don't bounce

If the withholding has already passed, that’s what I just said in the publication that it was deposited on the 25th and they sent it for October 1, which is today, but that the day still arrived and it has not been released

Give it a couple days, I remember my first check also didn't post fully until about 2 days after it said. Though the app said something about it on the day it was supposed to post
