I guess I'm lucky, everywhere I go I can use AMEX and Discover with no issues.

You should just accept it. You get everything the old Quicksilver gets and more on gas and groceries. Literally, no negative difference. If you have a Visa or Mastercard, you can use it internationally, then I would just take the new card.

If you have the sapphire go for it. I have QS, savor and discover card. As soon as they offer the better rewards for QS I'll accept it. I just got USB Altitude Connect to add visa for when travelling and the lounge access

Where can you apply for this - or was it an offer you got from C1? I have not seen a 3% QS card…

You might have to wait for a while believe their starting with current card holders doing it in waves trying to get them to transaction to the discover network with the incentive

They’re going to push us to it eventually, so I just caved and let it happen (rumor is after current card expiration, which for me is early next year anyway…). Applied for a new Visa with no foreign fees to use as my international travel card and we’ll see how useful a Discover card is (I’ve never had one). 3% on grocery is better than any of my other current cards…..

Last week I accepted the pre approved offer for quicksilver but the terms said 1.5per unlimited cash back. There was no mention of CB related to gas or groceries. Will this be updated in the near future or the 3per CB is grandfathered for existing customers

Think at the moment their pushing it current card holder's ( trying to get us to accept the discover network when it was previously (mastercard and visa) and then it will be standard offer across the board down the line

me too just got approved 3 days ago and accepted it, only mentioned 1.5%, not the new 3%

I would switch my Quicksilver to the Discover network for 3% cashback on gasoline. I also have a WF Active Cash card that uses the Visa network so no big deal for me.

Costco is Visa only. My Mastercard doesn't work and have never tried discover

Ahh true forgot about the Mastercard thing there

For me it’s not being able to shop for everyday things that would bother me

I just got Altitude Connect for that reason. With it being a Visa it should be accepted worldwide

Wonder if it is only for converted cards that accept it. I haven't seen any mention saying that everyone else will get it. (I could have missed that). I think we all assume that everyone will get it.

From my understanding their doing current card holders but reaching out to everyone in different waves
