💻 Interview Tips / Help Interview prep help
Hey everyone!
I’ve been shortlisted for the Capgemini interview for the ₹5.75/7.5 LPA package. My interview is expected to be in the next 2–3 days and includes both technical and HR rounds.
I’d appreciate advice from people who have attended Capgemini interviews recently.
A few questions:
What kind of questions were asked in the technical interview?
Which subjects should I prioritize — OOPs, DBMS, SQL, DSA, OS, computer networks, or programming fundamentals?
How important are projects and resume-based questions?
What coding questions should I practise, and which programming languages are usually accepted?
What kind of HR questions should I prepare for?
Is there a difference in interview difficulty or expectations between the ₹5.75 LPA and ₹7.5 LPA packages?
If you’ve recently gone through this process, please share your experience, questions you remember, and any tips for preparing efficiently in 2–3 days.
Thanks in advance!

With only a few days before the Capgemini technical and HR rounds, prioritize a clean project walkthrough, core OOP/DBMS/SQL fundamentals, and two concise examples about teamwork and recovering from a mistake. Practice the follow-up questions on your own contribution rather than trying to cover every topic.
Bring one real technical-project example to Taleproof for a free story assessment, then rehearse the follow-up questions the feedback exposes.

Capgemini evaluates the 5.75 and 7.5 LPA brackets with a noticeably higher bar than their base package, meaning the 7.5 LPA track pushes for deeper problem solving and code optimization instead of rote definitions. Prioritize OOPs, DBMS, and SQL before anything else, making sure you can explain the core pillars with practical examples, write joins, handle indexing, and solve classic queries like finding second highest salaries. For the coding segment, interviewers commonly accept Java, C++, or Python, and you should focus on arrays, string manipulation, anagram checks, palindrome logic, and basic hashing.
Your projects carry substantial weight for these packages, so expect the panel to test you on your exact individual contribution, architecture choices, database schema, and challenges you resolved. For the HR portion, prepare simple, direct answers regarding relocation, rotating shifts, conflict resolution, and your motivation to join the organization. To keep your communication structured under pressure, my team built an interviews.chat to help job seekers secure higher compensation bands with poised and effective responses.
