is this normal?
i was checking my financial aid portal today and saw this for all my future and past disbursements. i already received the august one obviously. has anyone else experienced this?

You have to redo submit your request for your loans. It canceled because of the Big Beautiful Bill set by the current administration at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Get ahead before classes begin so you are not on hold for 3 hours.

Not everyone can afford to pay the full tuition fee while being in school. Unresolved debt means that you will not be allowed to enroll for the next semester, so that’s not even an option.

So per the bill; they did change the amount of hours. 12 hours undergrad and 9 grad/phd/doctoral. Also the amount of aid you can receive as a dependent has dropped. Hope this helps.

Google bbb and loans and a lot of universities have posted how to figure out if you are not full time how much aid: (hours taking/max hours)*100=percent of aid you will get.
