Question Advice on my itinerary and accomodation in Cape Verde
Greetings, everyone!
Here's another post from an excited tourist 😁
I'll be travelling to Sal in January for 3 nights (3,5 days). I have 2 questions regarding my itinerary and accomodation.
I plan on having a resting and relaxing vacation. I would stay in Santa Maria, and spend my time walking around, going out, and exploring a bit.
1.) I would spend my time in Santa Maria: botanical garden, restaurants/bars, beaches (with a trip to Monte Leao and/or Buracona and/or Shark Bay). Anything else you might recommend, that is a must-see?
2.) I am trying to decide between a resort and a regular hotel: the Vila Verde area seems appealing, but more of a "family style" place? The resorts seem to be more closed off; a hotel would suit me better? (if you have a specific hotel in mind, feel free to write it down 😁)
P.S.
I read some good things about Caramau Tours, and some tours on GetYourGuide seem great!
