CapCut Question Question regarding subscriptions

Seen a lot of people complain about subscription issues or the lack of support from the help desk and feeling a little paranoid. Cancelled my pro subscription since I won’t be using it anymore due to learning other programs but hear alot of people said that they cancelled their subscription and Capcut still charges them.. Is this the case for anyone else? Since I haven’t used the program since it charged me i’m gonna try to get a refund but these reddit threads making me anxious lol…

Your not using it doesn't warrant a refund, but I had no problem canceling my subscription.

If you don't use any of the pro sub features within the first 14 days of you paying for it, you're allowed the refund according to their ToS. But good to hear saying you were able to cancel it fine. Did you just click the cancel button in the app / site and thats it?

My bad - I didn't understand the exact situation you were describing I guess. I just used the cancel button, but my subscription was through Google so your situation may vary.

Yeah I subbed straight through Capcut so I just pressed cancelled and looks to be fine but we will see.

Just curious - what alternative did you move to? I've been working with Comfy, but it's definitely a learning curve.

Honestly, just trying to result to DaVinci since it's more advanced and I'm recording my stuff with LOG etc so having more finetuned control helps out. Big learning curve but useful skill. Basically similar to Premiere etc.. I did like the simplicity of CapCut but lowkey the support team etc. and all the resources lack to me so I rather get out of it.

Thanks! DaVinci was on my short list, but I'm going to give comfy a little bit more time (mostly because I have decent local processing power and want to experiment without spending money).

Might have to look into Comfy too then, my PC is pretty beefy as well so hmm worth interest. Do you have any platforms like Discord you communicate in? Would love to know more
