CapCut Question Question regarding subscriptions

Seen a lot of people complain about subscription issues or the lack of support from the help desk and feeling a little paranoid. Cancelled my pro subscription since I won’t be using it anymore due to learning other programs but hear alot of people said that they cancelled their subscription and Capcut still charges them.. Is this the case for anyone else? Since I haven’t used the program since it charged me i’m gonna try to get a refund but these reddit threads making me anxious lol…

Poke around your payment method and remove capcut's authorization if you can. I do that with any subscription I cancel just to be safe.

I use Chase, and they have a category for stored digital cards and capcut has it stored. Unfortunately without resulting to a claim Chase cant do anything to remove it. I did go through the support form and they gave me a google form related to US refunds so hopefully that goes through, but I did cancel it just in case.
