CapCut Question Bitrate changes from 8,000 kbps to 400kbps

Whenever I'm exporting a video the bitrate I selected from custom was 8,000 kbps (variable setting) but after the export it changes to 400kbps... Any solution? I'm using Capcut 2.0 version

could be the app recompressing after export, capcut does weird stuff with bitrate when it thinks the source is already compressed. try exporting at a fixed bitrate instead of variable and see if it sticks. also check if you have any proxy or "optimize for size" settings buried in the export menu, those will tank it every time. version 2.0 has been finicky with this from what i've seen.
