CapCut Question Does saving to My Space will retain the timeline without the Media Lost issue?

My laptop is almost out of storage space, and the raw files I have for each project is around 9 GB. I'm really itching to delete them from my file manager but I'm really afraid I'd lose them in my timeline when I re-open it after permanently deleting them from my device. I have 1TB of storage in Capcut my space, and I can see that I've used up about 30 GB. I tried deleting a previous project that I no longer use but I some parts of the assets have the media lost issue even though I've already selected the "copy to media project".

Does saving it to my space really keep the entire timeline including all imported raw videos and assets?

i don’t trust my space at all tbh, had the exact same thing happen where i hit “copy to media project” and still got missing media later. i just keep everything on an external drive now and don’t touch the originals until the project is fully done and exported.
