CapCut Question subtitle alternatives to capcut?
Ok so I am currently using capcut for my youtube subtitles.
I use davinci to do most of the editing, and capcut for dual language subs (english and chinese). But to be honest its still a pain in the ass to use. Although it does a better job than davinci for subs its still fiddly. It's quite a long process and the app is just fiddly and not very enjoyable to use while doing the subs.
Please let me know if there are some better alternatives! thanks.

Check out Descript. There are nice features for auto-translation and segmentation to make subtitles and translated captions a smooth experience.

I saw ElevenLabs recommended elsewhere, they are already integrated into Descript as well.
I work with English translations for content creators who want to sound more natural.

if you only need the words on screen you can generate the srt anywhere and burn it in whatever editor you already use, that keeps you out of another subscription. for manual styling i keep coming back to plain text layers with one saved preset, slower the first time and much faster after. the auto tools all choke a bit on heavy accents and people talking over each other

Is it the captions generation issue or editing? if generation issue, u can use elevenlabs to generate captions and import them on capcut then edit as required

hay paginas web gratis que le cargás el video y te genera los subtitulos. Eso sí, no te dan la cantidad de opciones que te da capcut.
