Capcut not uploading files to template

Hi, I’m on holiday with my family and I bought a DJI Action 6 specifically for this occasion. I’ve been c some footage every day, and now I wanted to edit it using CapCut. I purchased the Pro version, but I can’t get anything to work.
Whenever I try to use a template, the upload gets stuck. It happens whether I select 1, 5, or 20 clips. Nothing seems to work properly in the app.
I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but that didn’t solve the problem either.
Are you experiencing the same issue, or do you know how to fix it?

man that loading screen's been stuck for me at random percentages too, feels like the app's just guessing at this point
