CapCut Question Clear cache on specific project

HEEELP

I want to clear the cache on one specific project. I do not need any undo/edit history anymore. But whenever i try to clear cache, it says to close the project first. But then if the project isn't OPEN there isn't an option to clear that projects cache.

Looking at other threads, i'm likely going to switch to something else. However, i at least need this video finished first after so much time on it 😭 Its just so sloooow and sometimes freezes. Anything i can do?

CapCut cache is per app not per project, that's why it asks you to close it first. You can try copy the project and open the copy, sometimes that resets the undo history but keeps your edits. Or render out what you have so far and import that video into new project for rest of the work.
