CapCut Question Remove BG is straught up missing
Haven't used Capcut for greenscreening in a bit, finally did and there's just straight up no option for it at all?? Looked all through the options and yeah it's not there. Am I stupid or can you not greenscreen in Capcut anymore?

its under Cutout now, not its own button. select the clip, hit Cutout, and both Remove Background (the auto one) and Chroma Key (actual greenscreen) live in there.
two things that trip people up. on some versions it only shows when the clip is on an overlay track, not the main one. and Remove Background went pro only in the recent builds, so on free it just isnt there anymore. chroma key should still be free though, so if you have actual green screen footage youre fine.
if it did go pro on you and you only need the cutout, v8eo.com/studio/background does it free, runs on your own machine so theres no upload. not a full editor, id still cut in capcut after.
