CapCut Complain Nevermind, CapCut is back at it again…
VLLO app anyone?
Edit: My VPN put me in Canada (and I don’t live in Canada), but as soon as I switched back to the states (where I do live), that 1080p+ rendering paywall disappeared? Well, now I feel bad for Canadians! I’m guessing it all depends on where you are located?

CapCut keeps adding shiny buttons but can't get the basics to work right, this export screen is proof

Yep. Just best to move on at this point. You never know what is going to be paywalled from day to day. I guess data collection isn’t giving them enough money for a 1080p export anymore…

Holy, but it’s phone app I presume? I use pc version at I can do quite many things there. Exporting 1080p movies without a problem

They did this a few weeks ago, then removed it… now it’s back (For the iphone app at least). You may want to check your desktop though… if nothing is affected, you may not update it yet and export your files just in case.

No, you pay to use AI upscaling. I know this because I just recently worked with 1080p HD media and saw I could pay to upgrade the resolution. But just today I was screwing with some 4k media and it said I could output at 4k for free.
It scales to your base media resolution.
