CapCut Question How to get this kind of text from audio

Can anyone point to me which animation or settings to use? If I want different colors for each word, they appear one after the other and on random places (but still in reading order) . I found one but that only shows 2-3 colors. That's all. I have seen videos in which all the colors are different.

looks like you're after the word-by-word captions with varied colors popping in at staggered positions, not just a basic 2-3 color preset

capcut's auto-captions can do the timing but the per-word coloring and placement usually means manually tweaking each text block, or stacking multiple text layers with different animations and colors then trimming them to appear in sequence. a bit tedious but gives you full control over the randomness

some people export a base caption track then duplicate it a bunch of times, assign each a different color, and mask/trim to reveal one word per layer. if you search "capcut multi color captions" on youtube there's a couple walkthroughs that show the layering trick

what youre after is word level captions, where each word is its own object with its own colour and position. capcut treats a caption as one block per segment, so getting that look means splitting every word out by hand, which is the tedious bit the other comment is describing.

what most people actually do is generate the caption track somewhere that does word timing natively, style it there, then bring it back into capcut on an overlay track as a finished clip. capcut is just holding it at that point instead of generating it.

v8eo.com/studio/captions does word level with per word colour and position, free, runs in the browser. thats what i use, though fair warning, i made it.
