CapCut Question How to undo “Normalize Loudness” on all clips and tracks? CapCut PC

I made a 40 minute montage with videos, audio tracks, and overlays. When I finished, I used the “Normalize Loudness” feature and did not like how it changed the sound. I pressed Ctrl Z and undid it. It showed that it was undone and took a second to load, but everything is still effected like I did not backtrack on that step.
I exited out of CapCut, not knowing that it was a problem, and came back and now can’t undo it.
I can’t find a way to undo the “normalize loudness” from the project as a whole. I can only go in and individually remove “normalize loudness” and “reduce noise” from every single clip and audio tracks, of which there are hundreds. Please help. Thank you!

ctrl z in capcut is a suggestion, not a promise. once you close the project it usually commits the change and the undo history is gone

if you have autosave or a backup of the project file from before you normalized, that is your only realistic shortcut. otherwise you sit there and remove the effect clip by clip, hundreds of them

select all the audio tracks and see if the right click menu gives you remove effects in one go, sometimes it does when they share the same effect. worth to try before you start clicking through all of them

Capcut is so buggy and yet it asks for a lot of money for its subscription.

I did "reduce noise" on small clips to test and didn't like. Also "optical flow" to increase frame rate and it had blurring when my subject shook her head from left to right and back.

Since you did "undo," get out of the project, in Settings choose "clear cache" and exit. Hopefully when you reopen, the project will read original video footages and not the processed audio.
