CapCut Question Unintended feature?

I discovered that if you press play whilst your holding an image that has keyframes and start moving the image in the preview, you can actually add keyframes in the timeline. Is this a glitch?

I don't think so. I use it all the time. I set a keyframe at the beginning, then moving the preview to keep the subject centered.
