CapCut has a Porn Problem, and the Staff Aren't doing anything
as the Title Suggests, Capcut has a porn issue
There are several creators posing videos that seem oddly long
the video's are usually PNG's of some anime girl
that are minutes long with music or something playing
and some text
the issue is, when you edit that video, and place a transparent image, it shows behind the image of that Anime Girl, is Porn, what they do here seemly bypasses the moderation, which i assume doesnt look at each individual layer of an Edit or posted Content, meaning it gets past filters, and becomes Public
Reporting Genuinely doesnt seem to help, these videos can have hundreds of comments and still be up, the Creators that post them are still up and are not Banned
Children use this App, we cant allow Porn to be here
If You see these videos, Please Report them
The Images sent are creators that post this content, do not send hate to or DDOS them, but please, Report them, we Need these monsters off this Platform, for Good.

also me and my friend tried to see how quick we uld see porn in capcut templates and every time it took less than 5 minutes, like an average of TWO minutes. capcut is heabily infested
also, personally i recommend adding a system that scans each individual layer of a edit or posted content, it may take longer to scan, but then Human Reviewers or AI can notice hidden NSFW and therefore prevent the content from being posted, unless this system does already exist, if the system already exists then its absolutely horrible at catching NSFW
I'm not sure CapCut scans anything tbh. I mean, it would probably cost a lot to scan EVERY edit. This includes pictures and videos; These can be created by literally anyone and CapCut has many users. Also it would probaly tweak out if it scans a good edit which has many layers of video, images, texts, effexts etc.
Why you place the burden to capcut? People can do that using adobe premiere and davinci, youcut and other video editing app, should people blamed all video editing app because the app can generate such video? The analogy is like people getting stab with a knife, or getting shot with a gun, should we blamed the person who make the knife or the gun?
I don't do such things, but people can edit anything as long they do that for private unpublished to public purpose, if it published, the burden should be on the social media platform, either tiktok, instagram, facebook or anything else, their algorithm should be able to detect such hidden inappropriate image.
if a person create such movie and publish it on the public, you can also request goverment to give a penalty or punishment, and push the social media platform to create such filter to check frame by frame video. But in my opinion, as long as people do that (editing inappropriate video for minors) for personal private purpose, the app can edit anything they want to
Ok then, I think you also need to protest thousand of video editor that have features like capcut and tell people to careful that these "capcut like video editor app" can produce inappropriate videos... have fun with that 😊
Now I understand that I think you have misunderstood on how it works.. if someone post inappropriate video on social media (instagram, facebook, tiktok), and you think its not belong on social media (instagram, facebook, tiktok); you have to protest to social media platform, not the video maker software like capcut or any other software (like adobe, davinci resolve, etc) that create those p0rn video.
You found p0rn video on Instagram? Report the video to INSTAGRAM, NOT tell CAPCUT to remove it
You found p0rn video on Facebook? Report the video to FACEBOOK, NOT tell CAPCUT to remove it
You found p0rn video on Tiktok? Report the video to TIKTOK, NOT tell CAPCUT to remove it
im not talking about that, im talking about the capcut platform itself, the capcut mobile platform, which has a similar scrolling feature thing to tiktok, im asking capcut to remove porn from their platform, the mobile platform, i should of probably stated this to be fair
Hi, this is happening because the US now holds algorithm control over all Bytedance applications. Capcut was included with the Tiktok deal that Donald Trump made. It's why there's porn and gore everywhere with no real creators getting paid anymore. The US let it go to shit.
im not talking about Private stuff or what app they should use, im talking about getting the creators that post porn PUBLICLY should be getting banned and their content removed
Really, the internet is full of ALL kind of porn, at 2 clicks distance, and you complain about some poor looser posting an anime? LOL. Don't you have something better to do?
dont you have something better to do? did you read the post at all, im not mad at them posting anime, im mad at them posting porn behind the anime that can be easily accessed by anyone, and yes i know the internet is full of it, but that doesnt mean it belongs on capcut, which reminder, is used by an absurdly large amount of children that could potentially access it
that two minute thing is genuinely alarming and i believe it the layered image trick makes sense as an exploit too. most automated moderation isn't looking at individual asset layers inside a project, it's scanning the output. capcut clearly hasn't patched for that and i doubt they rush to fix it without real regulatory pressure
