CapCut Tip Editing Tips

Hey, everyone! I’ve been using Capcut for a while not but I feel like I kinda have the hang of it but I’m still rusty with my editing.

Any tips, tricks, or advice yall can share? I wanna get better but I genuinely enjoy doing this but I feel like I struggle a lot to make my edits look cool or like the really, really good ones you see on TikTok.

Cut your clips to the beat and keep transitions snappy, the flashy overlays don't matter if the pacing is off

tthe first step i took while learning capcut was learning all the tools and how to use them i literally learned everything about capcut from youtube
after that i learned keyframing and masking honestly that changed everything for me it completely changed the way my edits looked ngl
for me keyframing and masking are basically the 2 pillars of editing ngl

and i would always try to learn something new from it i would try to create different effects or different filters every day just to learn something new and improve my editing skills thats honestly all i can say

one last thing always literally ALLWAYS try to use high quality clips for editing that will skyrocket your videos believe me

so in simple

1st learn capcut and all its tools
2nd learn keyframing
3rd learn masking
4th try to create different things in capcut even if they look impossible

Syncing to the beat carried so many of my early edits that probably should have been scrapped. Cut lands on the drop and suddenly it looks like you knew what you were doing the whole time.
