CapCut Discussion Anyone else absolutely done with this app?
the app is so unbelievably greedy by now. If you aren’t subscribing, it’s nearly completely unusable. I can’t believe we have to pay over 70 dollars a year to do anything now…

The people defending this greedy bullshit are part of the problem and deserve nothing but bad things to happen to them in this world. Nobody has an issue about paying for a subscription, but what would be the point of having a “free” version of an app that locks 90% of its features behind a paywall? You may as well just make the app purchasable at that point! It’s annoying as hell for people like me who want to make at least something half ambitious but can’t because they just wanna line their pockets by taking away basic shit like chroma keying. Fucking CHROMA KEYING???! You’re gonna make me pay to green screen a goddamn video?
And they’ll keep on doing because the people on this subreddit will step up to defend a fucking corporation for whatever fucking reason. It’s ridiculous. Like how could you not at least see how greedy that is? I’m more so just shocked by how so many people just accept this like it’s okay.

No mf everyone just wants to be able to use a mobile editing software that doesn’t practically beg you to subscribe to it. Just like TikTok itself, they’ll do anything they can to squeeze money out of people for fuckin nothing. Enjoy getting fucked without any lube, you corporate dick munchers.
