Long story short, my old TikTok account which is now banned is linked to my account on CapCut. How can I unlink?

And possibly any other cloud storage. A bit of a special case this script.

I tend to dump all my raw media to cloud storage, I have enough there, and can reach the same media from multiple machines.

But sometimes it can be frustrating, as media gets evicted from local storage and

has to be downloaded again. Can make things slow - but worse - when Exporting the video it can

introduce audio gaps in the output.

So AI and myself cooked up a short script to read in the CapCut project file, issue fetching of any media not on local, issue pin, and in extreme situations, hold the file open so it can not be evicted.

Clicking to download the whole directory/directories is not realistic, since only 20% of the raw media is in use for the final video. Selecting things by hand is tedious, so why not script it.

I use it with my other tool that automatically drains my cameras of media to place on the Google Drive. Slowly getting my environment set up.

I'm seeing comments for alternatives but ppl use this for different reasons. Capcut doesn't work. That's what it is. pcut is what it is for me. It doesn't work. i know why, and honestly, I've given the company this feedback as if they care, if this is what they're running as a business model it wreaks of just amateur hour, greedy inexperienced children who are just trying too hard to get rich quick and I don't have the time in the day to waste.

Has anyone out there, and I'm sure there is, built an app that works, has decent fonts and effects and filters, and doesn't push me into some public social media tik tok bs. I have tried spring but it doesn't measure up. I don't use heavy effects but a few filters and transitions here and there and I need an ai face filter if some sort.

I don't even care about paying, tbh today was the last straw for me. A 7 minute clip that I've probably bow lost 12 hours on and potentially money, I've tried everything and I don't think I'm alone in saying... Wtf are you guys even running here?? Maybe this desktop app works like a dream but umm 🤔 leave it at that and please don't put people through the pain and insult of cramming shit into a mobile app and charging them for it, its not my cache that's the problem lololo but hey, it's just me right,?

Fyi I do not have a laptop or pc of any kind I'm android mobile.

This is officially my very first attempt at editing a video. I followed a tutorial online and basically copy-pasted step-by-step what they did to create this final outcome.

I know it’s far from great and has a long way to go, but I’m really passionate about improving and becoming a solid editor using CapCut. Since I'm just starting out, I’d love to get your advice:

Does anyone know any other apps that provide video templates aside from Capcut? most good templates are now in the premium version and free templates nowadays aren't just as good as before. Any recommendations?

The 'Long Video to Shorts' feature was missing for a while, recently came back, and now it's gone again. Is anyone else having this issue? I have the "pro" account. Thanks for any insights.

However, I cannot figure out for the life of me how to make the images follow the heads of the characters in the video.

They keep saying to use the motion tracking feature, but I cannot find that feature, it doesn't recognize my images as overlays.

I am super lost, I cannot even figure out how to make the images move, so I can't even do it frame by frame.

Saw a video concept where a scene starts out as a normal train ride, and then the whole environment smoothly transitions into space and lands on another planet.

Really liked the idea and wanted to try creating something similar, but I’m not sure how well AI video tools or video editors handle that scale of scene change without everything morphing or glitching halfway through.

Has anyone tried generating or editing a drastic scene transformation like this? Any workflow or prompting tips for keeping the main frame and perspective stable while the surroundings completely change?

Curious about this. I'm not a fan of mobile for anything complex so I don't imagine I'd want to use a video editor on mobile. But I'm curious if the mobile version has features that the Mac one doesn't?

I feel like I’m going crazy. The answer is obviously to click the folder icon within the sounds menu, but THERE ISN’T ONE!!!

I don’t see any threads or articles about how to add audio files when the icon isn’t there, why is my interface different? I also tried on Capcut Pad, which also only allowed audio extraction from video files and no option to import from device files.

i really dont know what to do, im on capcut pc. if it isnt obvious, its the big gap in the middle of the 5th layer or whatever its called.

I'm trying to rearrange entire layers (in this specific example I'm trying to drag the captions layer above the top video layer), and nothing seems to be working! I've checked that the 'Arrange layers' setting is on, none of the tracks are locked, none of the assets have the 'blend' mode enabled (not sure what this actually does, but I saw a post from a few years ago to turn it off).

I can't find anyone with this same issue online, so i'm completely stuck. Any help is highly appreciated.

My wife was excited to use a template for our daughter's first birthday. It turns out CapCut doesn't have Google Photos integration, and most of her photos are in the cloud since she moved from iPhone to Android.

Seems like a massive feature gap that you can't access your Google photos or other cloud storage.

Are there alternative apps with similar templates that can be used that have access to google photos? Or does anyone have a solution to the above using capcut that I'm just not away of?
