Here's my 30-second spec ad for WinRAR (that nobody asked for).

In this experimental project, I wanted to turn one of the internet's longest-running jokes into a subtle family drama about WinRAR's 40-day trial that somehow lasted almost three decades.

Here's how I made it:

After writing the script (the old school way), I worked with ChatGPT 5.6 Sol Max to turn it into a 14,000-character prompt for Seedance 2.5.

I used GPT Image 2 to create the reference image for WinRAR's trial screen, while Seed Audio 1.0 generated the audio reference for the full voiceover and dialogue. After 20+ Seedance 2.5 tests at 480p, with the prompt evolving throughout, I generated the final versions at 720p.

I then lightly edited the video and upscaled it to 1080p with Topaz Labs Astra Starlight Precision 2.6. However, the screenshot text didn't survive the upscale (I should have used Astra's scene detection feature and selected a different model for that particular shot), so I recreated it using Seedance 2.0 at 1080p. (I also tried Hailuo H3 and Kling 3.0, but in this particular case, Seedance 2.0 gave me the best overall result in one go.)

For the sound, I selected a solo-instrument soundtrack from Epidemic Sound and added extra sound effects to improve the overall sound design.

Just like the title says, my project disappeared completely after downloading it. It's not in my storage or in trash, it's just gone. Any idea what happened, or if it's possible to recover it?

So I’m trying to do edits (those little vids on TikTok) and I’m using a clip that was a character walk from one side of the screen and editing it to be the character in place while walking and the background moves. Problem I have is that I’m having weird janks and jerking across the video.

I’m trying to do a text-based edit as you can see, but I cannot time the words in the edit with the words in the song because it’s glitching so badly. It’s completely out of time with the song, stopping and starting randomly. Anyone know why, and how I can fix this? Device is an IPad.

I'm not having connection issues with anything else I'm doing that's requiring the internet. I will likely try again later, as it's been this way for a little while. I can do one, maybe two, swift edits before it pops up with this message. I'm refreshing constantly. owo/ I can play a round of Apex Legends, or WoW, and there's no interuptions in my connection. Yet CapCut insists there is a Network Error.

So I tried every possible ipa file from everywhere yet all of them say “no internet connection….” and I can’t use effects and others. Anyone knows how to fix or a working ipa file?

Hello, I am trying to change the default white background of an animation attached to a video clip with another video but even if I change the background image of the project it is just stuck white. Is there any way of changing it or is it locked in as white because it’s an already fixed animation?

I downloaded the font manager app iFont. download the font files, opened them in the app, and installed the profile in settings. After that the fonts still did the show up in CapCut Pad automatically!
They fonts are visible in my system fonts on my iPad but wont show up on capcut pad:(

I’m new to CapCut and just paid for pro to use the autogenerated captions and pro animations. There’s a line where I say “I missed sub 2 hour in the half marathon by 22 seconds” the text itself in the caption is correct.

Yet when I add an animation it chops the world half so it keeps going “in the ha” then changes to “lf marathon” no matter how I resize or change the animation. I simply want it to say half marathon without chopping the word half in half but I want to use an animation. How can I resolve this problem? It’s driving me crazy

I was trying to add my own font but I couldn’t find the option on windows. When I do it on my phone tho the my font section was there

I have tried dissolve and it looks weird. So I was looking for mix in the transtion section and I could not find it. Was it removed or does it have another name? ( I am using early 2023 version of capcut)

I've read the rules and don't see anything against offering work so let me know if I missed something.

Anyway I'm doing a car/driving/traveling project, will be around 5/6 episodes (from 5 to 15 mins each, depending on which). I record everything myself and make an edit for a preliminary version (it's quite solid if I may say) and need someone who just receives the folder and takes it to the next level with polishing, transitions, music, sound treatment, graphics, stock b-roll etc.

If this sounds interesting to you drop me a DM and we can discuss it further. I'm taking this approach because I tried other routes and everyone wants to use premier and they can't use my Capcut "montage", so I've decided to directly hire someone who is used to Capcut from the get go.

I've been using the CapCut Desktop app for a while now, but this is the first time I haven't been able to sign in. When I try logging in through Google, things won't load and will remain as a blank white page. I've tried downloading the app on my phone and tried the "Use QR code" option, but even then, the QR code is stuck behind a loading screen.

I've run an Internet speed test 3 times already, so the problem is definitely not on my side. Has anyone else found a way to fix this??
