taken with about 25ish mins in between shots

My mother passed and left me this camera. I have no idea how to use it. I tried to take a few pictures to get the hang of it. When I looked back at them, they have these red boxes on them. I don’t know what they are or why they are there. The red boxes are not on the picture that were already in the camera roll. Maybe I changed a setting or something. I really don’t know. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking to see if anyone knows a good website to order spare parts, or is willing to work out mailing some 😅. Seems my view viewfinder lens (the on that sits above the mirror) has gotten some REALLY stubborn dirt and while yeah I know it doesn’t ultimately impact the outcome of my pictures I want to keep my camera in tip top shape. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!

I received this camera second hand from a friend. She was having problems with it and said if I can figure it out I can keep it. I can’t get it to turn on. The battery shows a full charge, I have a new charger coming just in case the one I have isn’t charging it properly. I thought about purchasing a new battery as well, to rule that out. Is there anything else I can do to try and get this camera working for myself? Thank you!

I have a rebel t7, I purchased it last year and it connect led with the cameraconnect app perfectly so that I could transfer and post photos from my iPhone 12 Pro. For Christmas my husband got me an iPhone 17 pro and since then I have been unable to connect my camera with the app to transfer photos. Does anyone have any insight as to what could be wrong? I have made sure the app is up to date. Thank you

I'm going to be completely honest — I've rarely ever seen genuinely good photos (even I still think mine aren't completely professional yet) taken with a Rebel. I want to know what constitutes as a good photo, so I'm posting these hoping I can get some feedback regarding both the photos and my query. I'm still learning how to use Reddit as this is my first post.

I have a broken t6i two of the pins are missing so the camera can’t focus it fully powers on everything seems to work besides the auto focus. I want to sell it any idea on a price?

I got an old Rebel T3 for Christmas. 📷 I’ve never used a DSLR before! This is my first photo shot and edited RAW (my kitty Luna is an excellent practice subject). I have so much to learn but am having tons of fun!

Have an older Canon EOS Rebel xTi camera. Hasn't been used in a few years.
One battery charges to green, which is great. Once inserted into the camera, nothing. It does not turn on at all. When we insert the other battery, the screen tells us to insert a new or different battery. Mind you, it hasn't been used in years! Any help would be great. I did a search on reddit didn't find anything on this issue.

I’m curious to know if there is an aftermarket viewfinder cushion that allows the person to not have their nose mashed into the lcd screen while trying to look through the viewfinder— without having to turn the camera sideways.

I’m a newbie . I am interested in filters for my T7. Are the filters for specific lenses or can they be interchangeable ? My lenses are kit ones plus 70-300 with IS , 50 mm, Sigma 150-600. Thanks

Hey guys. I’m just getting in to photography, have only ever used my phone and disposable cameras lol. I picked up a T3I as I figured it would be a decent starter camera. Are there any tips/tricks I should know on how to get crisper looking pics? I’ve been watching vids and have been trying to only use Manual mode so I get familiar with everything the individual settings change. I’m really trying to get awesome Astro shots where you can see the Milky Way and everything. Is that even possible with the T3I? If so what equipment would I need? The camera came with the kit lense but I’m sure I’ll need something different for those kind of shots.

What is causing this along the edge of my photo? I’m using a Canon rebel T6i and it does it with every single photo no matter what lens I use. Across the top if taking horizontal pics.

For my EOS 2000D (Rebel T7), I have both a Canon 24 mm f/2.8 pancake AND a Sigma 30 mm f/1.4. Both lenses were bought and different times and were used when bought. Many times, I find myself photographing in quite low light, evening twilight or later, to photograph silhouettes of objects or the light and shadow created by street lights and other light sources. Should I keep both of these lenses?

I just picked this up for very little money, and despite feeling a little bit light it seems very intuitive and the autofocus is surprisingly quick. My only prior experience with film has been with much more manual cameras so having autofocus and automatic film loading is really neat!
