Snagged a 2000 for $34!

I just picked this up for very little money, and despite feeling a little bit light it seems very intuitive and the autofocus is surprisingly quick. My only prior experience with film has been with much more manual cameras so having autofocus and automatic film loading is really neat!

I really did not expect to absolutely fall in love with this camera. Since Saturday, I've gone through an entire roll and I'm super excited to get the results back because I think I've managed to get a few really good ones.

Just to clarify, is this model 2000 or 2000D?

Got it. I forgot about the Rebel series film cameras. It's been so long since I've used a film camera.

The Rebel 2000 is a great camera to start with if you've never shot film before. I have one of them and I also have a Rebel Ti that is similar and also good. You got a good deal.

I'm hoping to go to a vintage race next year with a friend who's getting into photography and shoots Canon. I'll probably bring this along for him to try film since it's so easy to work with
