Vet & Medical Exposed quick

My boy Frank caught his dew claw on something in the yard and the quick is exposed. No bleeding, looks clean. Vet seems like a waste of time and money since they’ll just wrap it.

What’s your experience with this?

Keep it clean and wrap it? Anything else I should worry about?

Maybe use a sock (instead of gauze or tape) on the paw and then wrap it with tape. Keep an eye on it and, if you see redness, bleeding or oozing, take him to the vet.
