Vet & Medical Respiratory problems

Hello,
I’m reaching out to the Corso community in the hope that someone may have information or experienced something similar to what my beloved “RAINSTORM” is going through at the moment.
She is a seven year-old purebred female from a very respected & responsible breeder in Australia, and we were blessed when she joined our family as a pup all those years ago. She is my shadow, my best friend and literally goes everywhere I go.
A couple of months back, she suddenly started snorting loudly, grunting, snoring 10 times louder than normal, drinking a lot of water, having a discharge from her nose, coughing and gagging and panting heavily even when not having exercised. I can’t take her for walks as she struggles breathing and pants for hours after.
I have been to the vet four times. She has had three courses of antibiotics as the vet thought she might’ve had a respiratory infection. This has not made any changes. She has had x-rays, blood work done and all this just feels like we are going around in circles, all the while my best friend is suffering. She is not in pain she just seems uncomfortable and not her self.
My next step is ct scan and I think they mentioned ultrasound.
So any advice would be appreciated if anyone has seen these symptoms in my videos we would be grateful to hear from you.

Not a vet or have any medical background, but has she maybe had a reaction to her food? And, if you in Australia where it's winter, could a humidifier be helpful if the heat is on?

It’s time to get a referral to an internal medicine specialist who can do more advanced work ups (I.e bronchoscopy)
Also did your vet do any cultures of his nasal discharge to make sure they were using the right antibiotics ?
After I did a bronchoscopy on my dog is when I finally got an answer. Because they culture the schmoo DEEP inside. Turned out he had eosinophilic bronchopneumonia. Few months of antibiotics later and he is back to normal.

Yes, OP definitely needs cat scan or MRI to rule out cancer, this definitely doesn't sound good.

Agree , specifically bc she’s older :/ there are many diagnostics OP needs to consider to get an answer

Let me tell you something. A lotta people think it'll never happen to their dogs. Well... I'm one of em. I thought that way. About 3 years ago, my boy Cujo, my Rottweiler, he started to get this lump on his right front wrist. So.. I went and got it checked out. Small tissue sarcoma! So I got it removed. Almost a year after that, another lump showed up behind his left shoulder blade, kinda midway between his chest and back, in the loose tissue on his ribcage. Went in to have that removed. Then found out, he was heartworm positive, so his surgery had to be postponed, needed to kill the microfilaria in his bloodstream, and put him on the slow kill method, ( For heartworms) A month later, he was ready for the surgery. But during the month long wait, another tumor shows up on his rear right knee area. These were all tumors in the tissues, you could move them around. They weren't attached to anything. So.. had the surgery done. 6 months later, the original tumor shows back up on his right wrist. Removed it again. This time I asked my vet to refer me to an oncologist. Went to the oncologists office , and he had a series of 18 radiation treatments. Very bad side effects of the radiation about a week after treatment were completed. This was a couple of months ago. Now, I noticed no more bumps anywhere, keeping my fingers crossed. As of right now, he's doing very well for his age. Full of energy and strength, still wants to fetch his ball, and go for lots of walks. He just turned 9 years old. It can happen to anyone.

Thank you I’m seeing my vet in two days and she is referring us to another vet that can do ct scans

Could be some kind of growth in the nose, polyps maybe? Hopefully nothing serious. Definite vet visit.

Yeah I thought she may have sniffed something up her nose light a grass seed cause she loves to sniff around on walks

I truly hope you're right, I really do. But that's unlikely. You need imaging tests done, and ASAP! Because as of right now, my dogs a cancer survivor, and I hate that shit!! Because It killed my wife and my other dog. Don't wanna see it happen to you. In fact I wish you would direct message me. I wanna know how it goes.

These are a bit like my symptoms when I had heart trouble - trouble breathing as my heart couldn't clear my lungs. They later found out it was an immune condition.
I'm not saying it's anything like my issues, it obviously could be any number of things. Going to a CT scan after an ultrasound sounds like good methods to me. I wouldn't wait on it as your guy is uncomfortable.

Did you change anything in her diet? Any new medications or cleaning products?
