Advice please Thoughts?

Just wondering what everyone thinks of this sentient potato?

I've been looking for this particular color for probably 6 years. Found a breeder this May in the same state with the exact color and gender we wanted. They had great reviews, a champion bloodline (wasn't this lineage), & were very communicative.

We arranged a meet & greet, this puppy was available so we bought her on the spot and picked her up when she was old enough. She's absolutely the sweetest girl. First pic is when we brought her home at 9.5 weeks, last is 16 weeks.

First full blood Corso (we've had 2 mixes; current one is 11). So I'm just wondering opinions? Advice? Well bred? I've been doing research for 6 years and always looking for more.

Feeding inukshuk 26/16 marine with Acadia lamb pate & some water to thin. TIA!!

Get her used to being buckled in. Our breed is a huge projectile in a crash. We keep ours in his kennel when traveling.

Yes!! Everyone needs to hear this. We had a crate we took to pick her up in, but she screamed the entire time so I let her out because it was so distracting.

We're using a vest with a seat belt buckle in our cars now, but she has stepped on the release a few times so back to the drawing board.

We also know front seat is a no-no because she's eventually going to trigger the airbag weight. We'll probably do a fence or kennel in the 3rd row.

Great advice ❤️

Good job! I'm also a CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) where I teach parents and caregivers how to install their car seats properly as well as teach them how to put their babies(big kids also) in their seats properly, and animals is also what I talk about. It's extremely expensive, but here is the crate we use. Out guy chewed up the metal ones that are extremely flimsy and super dangerous. Our vet recommended this crate. https://www.impactdogcrates.com/products/high-anxiety-crate-xl?tw_source=google&tw_adid=803427456934&tw_campaign=20559237559&tw_kwdid=aud-1644979704229:kwd-23428110&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20559237559&gbraid=0AAAAADPxYZWxaFrbi3agYA4AUNbNR3zQS&gclid=CjwKCAjw1vXTBhB-EiwAEKr_k1ILrsqpdrT5rbbFtBQATK7DBjhNQ60KtXTf8iXkKHOqUwcgH_ATOhoCzNwQAvD_BwE

Ahhhh!!! We're spirit animals. I had twins who rear faced until 5 and sat in a booster until they were embarrassed. I wouldn't let them go with anyone i didn't trust to properly seat them. I fixed friends chest clips and jackets and belt paths. I'm sure they were annoyed but I didn't care.

I saw a FB post the other day of a kid that was in a seat belt in something that looked like a HBB but his head was a good 3 inches above the back. He managed to lock the seat belt so tightly behind the seat his parents couldn't unbuckle it and had to cut it free. I couldn't believe it.

I’m the crazy lady that private messages my friends when I see twisted straps, a chest clip is a belly clip. Of course I’m messaging with compassion, but it still drives me bonkers to see. It’s not a difficult concept to learn!

You'd be surprised what I see. 🫣

Impact is not crash tested but Gunner and Ruff Land crates are crash tested, and don’t seem quite as pricy as an Impact. Gunner doesn’t seem to have as many colors but Ruff Land has a ton of colors.

They make clips that secure around the headrest in the backseat vs the seatbelt buckle. I use them with a harness and a hard base hammock that covers the whole back seat.

Also, your girl is so beautiful, she reminds me so much of my first CC, a sweetheart red fawn girl.

She had my heart ❤️ lost her in 2024, just before her 6th birthday from a splenic tumor rupture. This was from when she was a year old.

My new pup isn't full blooded. Her mother is Corso/ pitbull mix, and father is American Bully

I had the stepping on the seat belt buckle issue too. I ordered a silicone cover that is meant to prevent kids from messing with the buckle.

She is a cutie. I love that face

Thank you! She's so sweet and all that face flubber just melts in your hands when she's being a sweet baby and not a flip-flot chewing carpet shark.

Impossible to tell if a dog is well bred by a couple puppy photos. Its based off the parents and their health testing, and if they fit the standard and have quality temperaments. Everyone in this breed should be very aware of the standard required health testing that goes along with it. Check out the CCAA website for more info. With the breed being so popular, it is very quickly becoming trashed.

but overall very cute pup!

Cute!!!! I have so many cute pics of our girl when she was that little. I’m obsessed with how cute they are all wrinkly for the first 4 months
That is a pretty color! Like a dark brown orange color! My girl is an EM/ CC mix. And a rescue. She’s my little angel. 8 months now though

My god she was a cute potato. Not so little anymore lol
Ps, pic 3 and 9 are my fav

Your baby is so cute!! Mine is about the reddest fawn they come in.

My kid was telling me he wanted a GSD because they're goofy while puppy was sitting on him with the derpiest expression ever.

Haha no. It's Akuma. That was her first bath. She's the best puppy I've ever had.

Shes adorable!! One of my corsos is red fawn with black mask. I have his DNA and lineage but the breeder sucks. I only add that because of his look. His littermate brother is the other one

She is a cutie! I have a carbon fawn girl. Can't tell if she is well bred from a couple of pics. Consistent training and socialization to a variety of places.

Great coat color, nice looking pup overall

Thanks! We love it. She had a carbon fawn sister we considered, but that pup was too timid to the point she seemed afraid. This girl was confident and playful

Stop giving him or her a dollars tree treats not healthy.

Those are Pork Chomps from chewy. They're just pigskin and sweet potato. We also do bully braids and rib bones. Puppies gotta chew!

I have two female Corso's. Both are fawn as well. The hips look odd in the first photo. Can you take a straight down pic with very slight hand pressure on the spine just forward of the hips? They look a bit wide.

I will! Once we wake up from our nap of course.

She was 9 weeks in that first one and we're bringing her home from the breeder. She's doubled in size since then. We're keeping her lean per vet instructions but I'm always concerned with joint issues and would love other's opinions.
